2. Compliance with Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, and use of products comply with all applicable California, federal, and local laws and regulations.

3. Orders & Right of Refusal

RUOpeps reserves the right to:

  • Refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion
  • Request verification of identity, affiliation, or intended use
  • Cancel orders suspected of misuse, fraud, or regulatory risk

Providing false or misleading information may result in account termination.

4. Shipping & Risk of Loss

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier

RUOpeps is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by third-party shipping providers. Customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance where available.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Returns are accepted only for unused, unopened, sealed products within 60 days
  • Refunds exclude original shipping costs and are subject to a 10% restocking/processing fee
  • Shipping-related claims must be handled through the selected carrier or insurance provider

6. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that research materials may pose known and unknown risks, and you assume full responsibility for safe handling, storage, and use. All products are provided “as is.”

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under California law, RUOpeps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from product use, misuse, shipping issues, or website access.

8. California Civil Code §1542 Waiver

You expressly waive the protections of California Civil Code §1542, which states:

A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in their favor at the time of executing the release.

9. Indemnification

10. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California on an individual basis.

  • You waive any right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings
  • Either party may pursue claims in small claims court where appropriate

11. Chargebacks, Payment Disputes, and Account Restrictions

By placing an order, you agree to the following:

  • You will first contact RUOpeps directly to resolve any issue prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute
  • Initiating a fraudulent or unjustified chargeback constitutes a breach of these Terms

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute:

  • Your account may be suspended or permanently banned
  • Future orders may be refused
  • Any outstanding balances may be referred to a collections agency
  • RUOpeps reserves the right to contest the chargeback with supporting evidence, including order confirmation, shipment tracking, and communication records

We reserve the right to maintain internal records of dispute activity and to restrict service to customers with a history of chargebacks or payment abuse.
